Love 'em all but for one thing - I really, REALLY miss the little tab that kept the jars open. I'm not a "paint from a palette" type and right now, it's "thumb open the lid, get some paint, apply, repeat" which gets rather bothersome. Colors, coverage, range though? Awesome.

I just grabbed about 16 paints that I'm going to use for my Cygnar (and I have to get about 3 more). I really like the range and I'm REALLY interested to see how the "Dry", "Texture", and "Glaze" ones work/look.
I'll be getting that $50 book to figure it all out.

The book is actually one of the better "How to" pubs that GW has put out, IMO. Very easy to follow. The layers, base, washes and glazes work great. I've not tried the textures yet, and I have some of the dry compound for work on tanks that I'll give a run at later today. Like I said, only gripe so far is that the pots don't say open

I plan on painting a mini this week (depending on a few work-related things), but maybe I'll wait until I can grab that book and give it a once-over first.

Hpe you like it - I found it to be a lot less of the "Step one...and the the MAGIC happens and you have a 'Eavy Metal mini" that usually shows up in White Dwarf. Much more down-to-earth and easy to follow.
