By posting on this board, you agree to all that is noted below.
The board rules are as follows:
1. Be kind and respectful to other forum members. "If you can't say something nice, then don't say nothing at all"
2. No trolling/flaming. Making a post with the sole intent to incite arguments or be demeaning towards another forum member (even if you are just "joking around") is not permitted.
3. No spamming. Re-posting the same information in several threads, or constantly posting in one thread just to "bump" the thread to the top of the category is not permitted. Replying to posts with less than a sentence's worth of thought just to increase your post count is also not permitted.
4. "Use your words!" Please attempt to use proper spelling, grammar, and punctuation throughout your posts. If you are not a native English speaker then we will be lenient, but otherwise you are expected to act like you have a high-school level education.
5. If you want to post pictures or documents related to gaming in our forum, please go through third-party sites like Photobucket, Flickr, and Dropbox. These sites will provide you with links to the files you upload to copy/paste into our forum (you can usually select a "bbc code" option that writes the link using forum coding). Our forum does not have enough bandwidth or storage to support everyone's uploads.
6. Stay on-topic! If you're posting in a thread about 40k army paint schemes, don't suddenly ask people what they think about your Malifaux army list. Threads that stray too far off-topic will be locked. Please don't hesitate to create a separate thread (and conveniently link it in the original thread) discussing that separate topic to ensure the main thread stays on-topic.
7. Pay attention to the Category you're posting in. I will move posts and whole threads that are placed in the wrong category without warning. For example, if you start a thread related to Warhammer Fantasy in the Infinity category, I will move that thread to the Warhammer Fantasy category.
8. Bots roam these forums regularly. If you post your phone number, email address, or home address, be ready for the unfortunate consequences. Please refrain from doing so by post; you can send personal information like that via PM (Private Message) instead.
9. If you are "punished" for breaking these rules, it is not a personal attack on you. If you can't handle being banned for a few days or being told to calm down, then you really don't need to be a part of this forum.
Ultimately these rules are pretty simple. Use common sense and good judgment and you will never have an issue. This forum exists as a place the War College community can go to discuss and support gaming in all of its forms. Let's focus on being supportive, kind, and creative.
Thanks for reading!
